It’s spring here in Oregon, finally! I mean, we haven’t yet had one really nice day above 65 degrees, but still, it’s kind of spring! And I’m super excited to garden this year.
I should explain. Even though I live ‘in the country’ most of our land is forested, which means too much shade for gardening. Also the deer pretty much run rampant here. There are ways that I want to fix this in the future (clearing some land and building a deer fence), but the last couple years I have done a deck garden instead. It has been trial and error, but I’ve been surprised at how much I can grow in pots.
This year, Real Food Media has teamed up with organic seed company Seeds of Change and we’re going to be blogging about organic gardening from now through the fall. Our Real Food Media bloggers will be growing organic gardens and blogging about it — and we want you to join us!
